Two more days…..

I work for a boss I don’t like - or respect that much either.  He is condescending, disrespectful, bi-polar, ADHD - oh yeah, and a prick.  He expects loyalty from his “team” but isn’t loyal to any of the members.  He expects respect, but doesn’t give it.  He doesn’t want people on the team taking their problems to “HR” but the first chance he gets to rat out those who work for him, he takes it - by blind cc’ing our Director and Personnel Managers on e-mails.  Coward. He will lie straight to your face - all the while smiling and acting as though nothing is wrong.  He is an instigator of discord among the team members, talks about everyone on the team behind their back, and then sits back and relishes in the drama he has created. 

I have worked for him for 1 year and 9 months, which is about 1 year and 8 months too long.  I was FINALLY approved for a transfer!  I will be working with others within the firm - just not him.  I have two days left to go - I’m on vacation all next week - and then when I return to the office on March 26, I return in my new position.
